Hamilton Matthews is an industry expert. He’s been an operator and investor in the Fintech and Business Information industry for the past 25 years.

Most recently he was Chief Executive of Acuris which provides a range of specialist business intelligence products to the global financial and corporate community. These include Mergermarket, Debtwire and Inframation as well as running several newly acquired businesses such as C6, Creditflux and Unquote. Having driven the successful sale of the business to BC Partners, a London-based private equity firm in 2013, Hamilton then lead the successful exit to ION Group, achieving a 5x return for BC Partners. He has served on the board of the Financial Times and had a six-year tenure at Thomson Reuters where he was Director for the Investment Banking and Capital Markets division.

Hamilton is regularly invited to speak at industry events and has a deep institutional knowledge and network within the M&A, Private Equity and Legal markets.
